Hyderabad: Vignana Jyothi Society has received an excellence award as the ‘Outstanding Institution of South India’ for providing an innovative ecosystem to the students.
Vignana Jyothi vice-president Durga Prasad Kode received the award from Commissioner of Collegiate and Technical Education Navin Mittal and Telangana State Council of Higher Education Chairman professor R Limbadri.
Former president of Vignana Jyothi, Dr DN Rao was given ‘IndiGlobal Education Leadership Award’ for his contribution in the field of education over the years. The recipients of these awards were chosen by the Telangana Education Department and IndiGlobal Education Festival.
The society runs six educational institutions encompassing school, undergraduate, technical and management education, agricultural polytechnic and rural development, and also offers doctoral programmes in engineering through VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology.
