Hyderabad: A total of 228 students graduated at the 26th convocation ceremony of Vignana Jyothi Institute of Management (VJIM) held here on Saturday.
Addressing the graduating students, UNQBE CEO and Infinite OD, Dr Shalini Lal shared her experience as a student, researcher and as a management trainee with Titan Watches. She explained how the new age technologies were changing the businesses and asked students to adapt these for progressing in careers.
In his presidential address, Vignana Jyothi, president, Dr. DN Rao said “True learning starts once you leave the portals of institute and step into a world that is experiencing unprecedented and turbulent times.”
On the brighter side, he said, “we are at the cusp of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) which is ushering in powerful technologies that are helping us mitigate if not eliminate such calamities. Machine Learning based models, trained on specific biomolecules have offered inexpensive and rapid implementation methods for the discovery of effective viral therapies and vaccines for Covid-19.”
Shalini Lal gave away the gold medals and prizes to the meritorious students on the occasion.
