Vikarabad: The TGSPDCL on Saturday stated that the video going viral on social media platforms was not from Tatepally village.
The TGSPDCL in a statement said due to the heavy rains and gales services in different areas under the 33 KV Turmamidi feeder were affected on Thursday night.
The 60-km long feeder lines pass through fields and forests and two 33 KV poles got collapsed, tree branches fell on power lines at four different locations and three lightning arresters were also damaged.
The TGSPDCL staff immediately conducted line patrolling and switched on the feeder, yet it got tripped. All the damaged lines and poles were replaced with new ones and power supply was restored by 10.30 am on Friday.
There was no disruption of power for two days as claimed in the video, it said.
