Hyderabad: Hrithik Roshan on the occasion of his birthday presented to his fans his much-awaited first look as Vedha from the action thriller “Vikram Vedha”. Hrithik in this avatar looks menacing with thick beard, scruffy hair, blood marks on his forehead and chest, yet is stylish and mighty impressive in sunglasses. Hrithik’s Vedha picture in grey with white stripes kurta suits the neo-noir element of the film which is bound to garner a lot of attention.
And the first picture of the Bollywood handsome hunk from the cop thriller has already taken social media by storm. Promising a massive treat to the fans, it has sent them into a frenzy and they are now gearing up for the trailer.
The film, a remake of the 2017 Tamil hit “Vikram Vedha”, which starred R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi in lead roles, also features Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte and Rohit Saraf in major roles.
Hrithik Roshan’s mass look as Vedha is also generating a lot excitement as Hrithik will be seen for the first time with Saif Ali Khan on screen. In the Kollywood blockbuster movie, Vedha was played by Vijay Sethupathi.
Saif Ali Khan plays a police officer and Hrithik a gangster here. The Hrithik Roshan-Saif Ali Khan combo has upped the curiosity. With these two stars coming together, movie lovers have a lot to look forward to in the thriller. Also, the face-off between the two actors is much talked about.
Writer-directors Pushkar and Gayathri are also handling the Hindi version. The action thriller is based on the Indian folktale ‘Vikram aur Betaal’. It tells the story of a tough cop and an equally tough gangster. The film is produced by Reliance Entertainment in association with YNOT Studios and Friday Filmworks.
