Hyderabad: A workshop on ‘Virtual Lab’ was conducted by Shireen Mahala Tagore, Assistant Professor from the Lords Institute of Engineering & Technology, for the UG First-Year Physics students in the computer lab of Hindi Mahavidyalaya.
During the programme, informative training on practical experiments related to mechanics was provided to the students. Along with enhancing experimental skills, the main objective of the workshop was to develop analytical skills in students to understand the data obtained through experiments. Through this workshop, students gained a clearer understanding of physics concepts and had the opportunity to learn experiments through virtual simulations.
The programme helped students develop skills such as self-learning and repeated practice, while enabling them to acquire practical knowledge in a safe, easily accessible and cost-effective environment. College Principal Dr Bala Kumar and others participated.
