Visakhapatnam: The Greenland plantation was inaugurated at the RINL-Visakhapatnam steel plant on Tuesday taking up sapling selection keeping the view of pollution control as well Ecological Diversity parameters.
Around 24,000 miscellaneous saplings were planted in 24 Hectors area near KBR reservoir 1& 2 as part of the project under the Corporate Environment Responsibility (CER) /Natural Resource Augmentation Plan (NRAP) of the Union Ministry of Environment and Forests.
