Vishwa wins Brilliant Trophy Chess title after tie-break

A Vishwa won the Brilliant Trophy Open Online Chess Championship after a three-way tie with K V K Karthik and Nishanth Challa, all scoring 10 points. Teja Anusha was best woman player

Hyderabad: Three players — A Vishwa, K V K Karthik and Nishanth Challa — tied for first place with 10 points each out of 12 rounds in the Brilliant Trophy Open Online Chess Championship on Tuesday.

In the tie-break, A Vishwa won the event, K V K Karthik secured second place, and Nishanth Challa finished third.
