Vishwak Sen, Anudeep team up for fun family entertainer ‘Funky’

Mass Ka Das Vishwak Sen, who has won over crowds consistently for his varied script choices and versatile performances, is joining hands with blockbuster director Anudeep KV for a full-on family entertainer titled ‘Funky’. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya are bankrolling the project under Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Srikara Studios will present the film.
The film formally commenced with a puja ceremony in Hyderabad on Wednesday in the presence of the cast and crew. Director Nag Ashwin sounded the clap, while the camera was switched on by director Kalyan Shankar. Producer S Naga Vamsi handed over the script to the team.
True to the spirit of the film, a lively poster of ‘Funky’ was unveiled by the team on the auspicious occasion, where the colourful title design is accompanied by the words ‘family entertainer’, arousing the curiosity of audiences. The poster further suggests that the film is likely to have around fun, family and endless laughter.
The makers assure ‘Funky’ will boast of all the ingredients one expects from an energetic collaboration between Vishwak Sen and Anudeep. The film will feature an ideal blend of humour that Anudeep specialises in, capitalising on Vishwak’s abilities as a performer, packing in fun and entertainment catered to audiences of all age groups.
Promising technician Suresh Sarangam is on board as the cinematographer for the film which also comprises National Award-winning editor Navin Nooli. Bheems Ceciroleo, who wooed audiences with his catchy music score for ‘Tillu Square’ and delivered many chartbusters for ‘MAD’, will compose the music for ‘Funky’.
