Viyona Fintech Ready to Onboard Banks on NPCI’s eNACHLite as In-App e-Mandate Replaces Browser Redirect
NPCI has launched e-NACH Lite at the Global Fintech Fest 2026 in Mumbai, eliminating the need for clunky web pages in auto-debit mandate setups. Meanwhile, Hyderabad-based Viyona Fintech India Private Limited has already built and tested the system, enabling banks and lenders to onboard seamlessly from day one.

Hyderabad: Every year, millions of Indians set up an eNACH auto-debit mandate for a loan EMI, an insurance premium or a monthly investment. And for years, the same thing has tripped them up: partway through, the app throws them out into a clunky web page that often fails without explanation. Many never finish. That ends now.
At the Global Fintech Fest 2026 in Mumbai today, the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) launched eNACHLite — a rebuild of how auto-debit mandates are set up in India. Customers can now create, change, pause or cancel an e-mandate entirely inside the app they are already using. No web page. No handoff. No dead end.
Viyona Fintech India Private Limited, the Hyderabad-based NPCI-certified Technology Service Provider working on eNACHLite, is not waiting to get started. It has already built the system, tested it end to end, and is ready to take banks live from day one.
What changes for the customer?
Everything, and nothing they need to learn. They see the auto-debit details. They confirm who they are with their card or Aadhaar. They enter a one-time password. Done — in seconds, in one app, on one screen. And when something does go wrong, they are told exactly what and why, instead of staring at a blank error.
What changes for banks and lenders?
More customers finishing what they started. Fewer complaints landing in the call centre. And staff who, for the first time, can tell a caller precisely what failed.
“That jump out to a web page has been the single weakest link in Indian auto-debit for years,” said Ravindranath Yarlagadda, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Viyona Fintech India Private Limited.
“Every one of those drop-offs was a customer who wanted to pay and could not. NPCI has now fixed that at the root. We started building the moment the eNACHLite specification landed, so a bank coming to us today is not starting from a blank page — they are stepping onto something that already works.”
Banks do not have to rebuild anything
No new app. Existing eNACH mandates carry on untouched. Sensitive details — card numbers, Aadhaar — stay locked inside NPCI’s own secure software and never enter the bank’s custody. Viyona handles the technical build, the certification with NPCI, and the day-to-day running of it.
