‘Vocal for local’ will build a self-reliant India

Hyderabad: Atma Nirbhar Bharat or self-reliant India is a mission launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 12, 2020. The main aim of this mission is to make India a self-reliant country and to promote Indian goods.

“It doesn’t mean to cut off all the relations with the world or to be isolated“, said Narendra Modi and his cabinet colleagues Nirmala Sitaraman, Subramanyam Jaishankar. It has very well been implemented.

The first mention of this came in the form of Atma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan or mission during the announcement of India’s Covid-19 economic package. The largest fund in the country worth twenty-one thousand crore was set with the aim of supporting the mission towards self-reliance.

“Vocal for local”, “made for world”, “local for global” are very famous slogans of this mission. India started to boycott Chinese products and banned many famous Chinese apps like Tiktok, Sheik, Pubg game. Many people are happy to see India in the top place in all the fields like technology, economy and other key sectors.
