Wanaparthy: The Wanaparthy district police achieved a record by conducting a blood donation drive with over 250 donors as part of the Police Flag Day programme.
Last year, the district police had set a record by organising a blood donation drive with 123 donors. This year, the record was surpassed with the participation of over 250 donors.
Refraining from extending personal personal invitations, the Sub-Inspectors shared messages on WhatsApp groups. The police team’s efforts were appreciated by the senior officials. Apparently, the blood donation camp had to be closed as the employees from Narayanguda Blood Bank had carried only 250 bags.
