Wanaparthy: Van overturns after tyre burst, 25 labourers injured
At least 25 labourers were injured after the vehicle in which they were traveling overturned at Kanimetta village of Kothakota mandal of the district on Tuesday.
Wanaparthy: At least 25 labourers were injured after the vehicle in which they were traveling overturned at Kanimetta village of Kothakota mandal of the district on Tuesday.
According to reports, the labourers were traveling in a van from Bhootkuru village to pick cotton in Venkatampalli village of Mahabubnagar district. As the vehicle reached the National Highway 44 passing through the Kanimetta village, the vehicle tyre bursted and it overturned.
Four labourers were seriously injured in the accident.
Locals shifted the injured to government hospital for treatment. A case was registered and investigation is underway.
