Warangal: CCF urges people to do their part to conserve wildlife

Warangal Urban: Chief Conservator of Forest (CCF), Warangal, MJ Akbar has lauded the Orugallu Wildlife Society (OWLS) for its efforts to create awareness among the people on the need to protect wildlife and environment in the erstwhile Warangal district.
Warangal Forest Department and the Orugallu Wildlife Society (OWLS) jointly organised an awareness programme on wildlife conservation at the Forest Campus at Subedari on Friday on the occasion of World Wildlife Conservation Day.
Speaking on the occasion, the CCF, who was the chief guest at the event, said that OWLS had been striving hard for the wildlife conservation, and added that people should also do their part in this regard.
Meanwhile, the winners of the online painting competition organised on the occasion of World Wildlife Day were presented with cash prizes and mementos at the programme.
Warangal Urban District Forest Officer (DFO) Dr G Ramalingam, Mulugu DFO Pradeep Kumar Shetty, Former DFO Kazipeta Purushotham, OWLS founder president Indaram Nageswara Rao, OWLS founding secretary Ch Shyam Sundar, Ravi Babu Naresh, Shashidhar Reddy, Dharma Prakash, Forest Officers, staff and students attended the programme.
