Warangal district fisheries officer, field officer in ACB net

ACB officials in Warangal arrested district fisheries officer Allu Nagamani and field officer P. Harish for accepting a Rs 70,000 bribe to process a file related to new cooperative society members.

Warangal: ACB officials on Friday caught the district fisheries officer, Allu Nagamani red-handed while she was accepting a bribe of Rs 70,000.

She accepted the bribe through an outsourcing field officer P Harish at her office for processing a file pertaining to inclusion of 84 new members into a fisheries cooperative society. The tainted amount was seized from the possession of Harish.

Both Nagamani and Harish were arrested. They will be produced before the special judge for SPE and ACB cases in Warangal, said an official release.
