Warangal Rural: In a tragic incident, a farmer died when his tractor fell into an open well at Nallabelli village of Wardhannapet mandal in the district on Monday. The deceased was identified as Banoth Veeranna (49) of the same village.

Sources said Veeranna and his son Madan Lal were working on the farm. While Veeranna was driving the tractor it accidentally fell into the well and he was crushed under the tractor. Though his son tried to lift the tractor with an earth mover, Veeranna succumbed to injuries by the time the tractor was moved.

Police have registered a case based on a complaint lodged by his wife Bhadramma  and are investigating. The body was shifted to hospital for postmortem.
