Warangal: Dharti Bachao president Mohammad Azam and Sannath Social Service organisation president Patha Santhosh Kumar handed over Rs 50,000 in cash to a meritorious student, Narmeta Navya Sri, to enable her to pursue higher studies here on Sunday. Speaking to ‘Telangana Today’, Azam said that he had come to know about Navya Sri’s financial condition through a news item published in Telangana Today dated October 11, 2021.
Navya Sri of Warangal is not in a position to pay her tuition fee for pursuing M Pharmacy in Medical Devices. She secured the seat in one of the prestigious institutes in Pharmaceutical Education in Hyderabad. Following this, Mohammad Azam decided to help her by raising funds. He started forwarding the news and requested his friends and others through social media for her higher education. Meanwhile, Sannath Social Service organization has come forward to raise funds. “Both of us managed to collect Rs 50,000 from philanthropists, NGOs and others,”Azam said and thanked this paper for publishing the news. Thanking both Azam and Santosh, Navya Sri said that she wanted to become a scientist in the field of genetics and help society.
