Warangal: Making a scathing attack on the union Government for its anti-farmer and anti-common man policies, Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao has appealed to the TRS party sarpanches, MPP presidents and ZP chairpersons of the erstwhile Warangal district to ensure passing of resolutions in the general body meetings against the BJP government at the Centre as a part of TRS party campaign against the Modi government for not purchasing paddy, and for hiking the LPG and fuel prices. He participated in a preparatory meeting held at Station Ghanpur here on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Wardhannapet MLA Aroori Ramesh, West MLA Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar, MLC Pochampally Srinivas Reddy and others MLAs and MLCs have also conducted separate meetings in the district to chalk out plans to protest against the Modi government. “The agitation against the Centre will not be stopped until it gives an assurance to purchase the paddy produced in Telangana completely on the lines of wheat purchase in Punjab,” said MLA Ramesh addressing a huge meeting of the party workers.
In another meeting, MLA Vinay Bhaskar has alleged that the Modi government was working against the interests of the farmers and common people. He added that the TRS party led by party chief and Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao would mount pressure on the Centre until it makes an announcement on paddy purchase in this Yasangi season. “The Centre must purchase each grain of paddy,” Vinay Bhaskar added. Minister Satyavathi Rathod has also addressed the preparatory meetings in Mahabubabad and Mulugu.
