BRS working president KT Rama Rao launched a scathing attack on the Congress government, accusing it of abandoning governance and betraying promises made to voters. Welcoming former MLA Aroori Ramesh back into the party, KTR urged cadres to treat upcoming municipal elections as a referendum on Congress’s two-year rule.
Ahead of the municipal elections, former Wardhannapet MLA Aroori Ramesh quit the BJP and announced his return to the BRS, calling it his home party, dealing a setback to the saffron party in Telangana.
With the local body elections approaching, Ramesh, who joined BJP, is said to be now making efforts to rejoin the BRS, indicating a shift in his political strategy
