Warangal: As a part of their crackdown against the sale of the banned tobacco products, the Commissionerate Task Force sleuths led by Inspectors Ch Srinivas Ji and R Santosh raided a house of one Gullapally Ramesh, situated at Shanthinagar of Narsampet town in the district on Monday and seized tobacco products from his possession.
On interrogation, he reportedly revealed that he had been collecting the tobacco products from one Devagath Ramesh, a car driver of Tulukurthy in Nagarkarnool district, who is also the owner. Degavath Ramesh, who is working for one Gullapally Ramesh, had been going to Bidar city of Karnataka State to get tobacco products.
“We have arrested both of the accused, and seized the banned products along with two cars, and handed over them to Narasampet police for taking further legal action,” said Inspector Srinivas Ji.
“The seized property include RR Zardha -24 Bags (Rs 5,04,000), J.K Zarda packets (Rs 38,000), and Amber packets (Rs 6,000), he added.
