Warangal Urban: Rajendernaik Azmeera, a research scholar in Human Resource Management (HRM), Kakatiya University (KU), Warangal, was awarded Ph D by the KU. He submitted his Ph D thesis titled “Human Resource Development Practices in Indian Power Sector – A Case Study of Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Limited.”
He did his research under the supervision of Prof G Rameshwaram, (Retd), Department of Public Administration and HRM. Rajendernaik, who hails from a poor tribal family of Kannaigudem village in the agency area of Mulugu mandal, also completed his M Phil from the same department in 2016. He also secured the National Fellowship for Higher Education of ST Students (NFST). Fellow research scholars, members of the ST student and faculty union including Assistant Professor Dr Bhukya Devendra Naik congratulated Rajendernaik for obtaining the Ph D degree despite his poor family background.
