Hyderabad: A fire broke out in the EIPL apartment in Manikonda on Wednesday morning. No casualties were reported in the incident.

According to officials, the fire apparently started in a flat on the ninth floor of the apartment building located at Puppalguda, Manikonda. On noticing thick smoke emanating from the flat, the building occupants rushed out of their flats to safety.


On receiving information, the local police and fire officials reached the spot and managed to put off the fire. The officials are investigating to ascertain the cause of the fire.
