Xiaomi has unveiled another underwater unboxing video of its latest Mi 11 Ultra on its YouTube channel. One of the features of this smartphone variant is its IP68 water-resistant build. That feature has now been put to test as the phone was unboxed underwater by a diver in a suit and this was shared by Xiaomi.
The video shows a man walking in a well-fitting suit and suddenly diving into a swimming pool to unbox the already kept Mi 11 Ultra. He unboxes the phone and boots it up inside a swimming pool.

A device with an IP68 water-resistant rating can survive underwater depths of up to 1.5 metres for up to 30 minutes at a stretch. While most Mi 11 Ultra users might not take it to swim daily, it is nice to know that your phone can survive the extremities if required.
However, this is not the first time the Chinese phone maker is emphasising on its waterproof features. Previously, in April, while launching the phone, Xiaomi shared a similar video of a diver unboxing Mi 11 Ultra deep under the ocean, as projected in the video.
The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra flagship smartphone is priced at Rs 69,999 in India. The phone comes in a single 12GB RAM and 256GB of native storage variant. The smartphone is being offered in Ceramic Black and Ceramic White colour shades.
