Tension broke out at MLC Teenmaar Mallanna’s office in Medipally after his gunmen fired shots during a protest by a group of people. One person reportedly sustained bullet injuries. Police have launched an investigation; more details are awaited.
Hyderabad: Tension prevailed at the office of MLC Chintapandu Naveen Kumar popularly known as Teenmaar Mallanna on Sunday after his gunmen opened fire when some people claiming themselves to be Telangana Jagruthi members staged a protest at his office to condemn Mallana’s comments on BRS MLC Kavitha.
A group of people claiming to Telangana Jagruthi members went to the office of Teenmaar Mallanna, at Medipally on Sunday afternoon to stage a protest against his comments on MLC Kavitha. When they entered the office, ruckus broke out after the gunmen tried to push them out of the office.
The gunmen then fired a few rounds in the air forcing the protestors to run for cover. It is learnt, a person Sai sustained two bullet wounds in the incident.
On information, the police rushed to the spot and started an investigation.
