Watch: Six injured as LPG cylinder explodes in Siddipet

An LPG cylinder exploded in Akunur village, Siddipet, injuring six family members and destroying their house. Locals assisted in rescue operations, and the victims were shifted to the government hospital after initial treatment at a local facility.

Siddipet: Six members of of a family sustained burn injuries when an LPG gas cylinder exploded in Akunur village on Tuesday morning.

Shette Kavya attempted to light the gas stove when the gas started leaking out and it resulted in an instant explosion.

Kavya, her husband Bhaskar, their three children Pranavi, Krithika, Harishini and Bhaskar’s father Ayyallam sustained injuries.

The house gutted as the explosion led to fire. Valuables in the house were reduced into ashes. The locals rushed to their rescue and the victims have been shifted to the government hospital in Siddipet after providing first aid in a local hospital. The incident left the otherwise calm village in a shock.
