Hyderabad: While pets seem to be ruling social media platforms in recent days, this cat seems to be no less in the competition. However, weighing 16.8 lbs (approx. 8 kg), this cat called Swayze Nelson is famous for its adorably thick figure.
Owned by Abbe Nelson, Swayze’s Instagram page now has over 34k followers. But the owner says she doesn’t have any clue why her beloved pet is so massive. However, the regular visits to the vet show that the cat is in good health.
Abbe also mentions in one interview that she tried putting Swayze on a prescription diet but that didn’t reduce the weight of the cat.
However, it is that unusual chubbiness that has turned the pet into a social media star. Maintained by Abbe, the Instagram page is an archive of all kinds of mischief and acts done by the cat, which has left netizens drooling over the furry being.

Several Instagram users expressed how Swayze’s videos brought cheer to their lives while some just couldn’t get over his cuteness. “I love the way he does that with his two paws,” wrote one Instagram user. “Kiss that sweet belly!” wrote another.
