The young aspirant's distress stemmed from having spent the last two years preparing for the Group 1 exam using Telugu Academy books, only to find out that the government had declared them invalid, leaving him feeling he had no chance of securing a job.
Hyderabad: The video of a Group 1 job aspirant weeping inconsolably and declaring that Telangana had gone to dogs had gone viral on social media platforms. The youngster, apparently one of the protestors, is seen hunched against the pole and weeping even as some policemen and scribes were offering him water urging him to take a sip.
The anguish of the youngster was that he had prepared for the group 1 examination for the last two years using the Telugu Academy books and with the government declaring that the academy books were not no longer valid he had no chance of getting a job now.
“How can they do this? I cant even get a peon job now. Death is the only solution for me”, the lanky youngster wept even as the policemen and a couple of scribes tried to console him. Steadfastly refusing to sip water, the youngster said he had been preparing by making notes of Telugu Academy books and now all his effort has gone waste.
