The young aspirant's distress stemmed from having spent the last two years preparing for the Group 1 exam using Telugu Academy books, only to find out that the government had declared them invalid, leaving him feeling he had no chance of securing a job.

He questioned the government's stubbornness in refusing to reschedule the exams, despite repeated requests from candidates. He condemned the arrests of protesting candidates in Ashok Nagar and demanded their immediate release, along with the withdrawal of any charges against them.

The collector visited several examination centres and enquired about the arrangements and the procedures being followed by the officials.

The TGSRTC officials will monitor bus stops to ensure hassle-free boarding and alighting, proper stoppage of buses at stops and bus bays and also guide candidates in boarding buses required for the routes concerned.

A window to edit Group-I application will be available on the website https://www.tspsc.gov.in from March 23 to 27.

An application to withdraw the petition has already been filed by the Commission in the apex court and it is likely to be listed for February 19
