Peddapalli: Rivulets, tanks, ponds and other water bodies in the district were overflowing on Tuesday following the heavy rainfall recorded in the last 24 hours.
The highest rainfall of 128.3 mm was recorded in Kamanpur followed by Palthem -107.3 mm, Kunaram-105 mm, and Palakurthi-100.0 mm.
The rainfall was widespread across the district with some places experiencing heavy rain. Ramangampalli recorded 87.3 mm, Mutharam-84.8 mm, Malyalapalli-83.8 mm, Srirampur-83.0 mm, Bhojannapet-81.3 mm, Ramagundam-63.5 mm, Dharmaram and Julapalli-61.8 mm, Anthargoan-55.8 mm, Manthani and Eklaspur-55.0 mm.
