Water released from Singur to meet Yasangi needs of paddy farmers in Medak

The irrigation department will release 0.35 TMCft of water to meet the Yasangi needs of farmers. Ghanpur Anicut had 40,000 acres of ayacut under both the left and right canals.

Sangareddy: The irrigation authorities started releasing 2,842 cusecs of water from Singur reservoir to downstream the river course to meet the irrigation needs of ayacut under Ghanpur Anicut.
