Which Telugu distributor is securing the rights to release Dhanush’s ‘Idly Kadai’ in Telugu?

Originally titled 'Idly Kadai' in Tamil, the film has been dubbed into Telugu as 'Idly Kottu' and is set for a worldwide release on April 10.

Hyderabad: Telugu distributor Chinthapalli Ramarao of Sri Vedakshara Movies has acquired the rights to release Idly Kottu across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, along with overseas distribution.

Ramarao, who recently distributed Vijay Sethupathi’s Vidudala 2, will now bring Dhanush’s latest directorial venture to Telugu audiences.

Originally titled ‘Idly Kadai’ in Tamil, the film has been dubbed into Telugu as ‘Idly Kottu’ and is set for a worldwide release on April 10.

The movie features Dhanush, Nithya Menen, Arun Vijay, Shalini Pandey, Samuthirakani, Prakash Raj and Raj Kiran in key roles.

Idly Kottu marks Dhanush’s fourth film as a director after Pa Paandi, Raayan, and Nilavuku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK).

He has also produced the film under his Wunderbar Films banner, in association with Dawn Pictures. G. V. Prakash Kumar has composed the music.

Meanwhile, Dhanush’s other directorial project, NEEK, starring Pavish, Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, Mathew Thomas, Venkatesh Menon, Rabiya Khatoon, Ramya Ranganathan is set to hit theaters on February 21.
