Why are only women’s morals questioned: Samantha Ruth Prabhu
The much-loved Tollywood couple had posted an elaborate message on the photo and video-sharing app, announcing their split and sharing that their decade-long friendship will still remain a special part of their lives.
Hyderabad: Samantha Ruth Prabhu and her ex-husband Naga Chaitanya recently took the world of internet by storm after they announced their separation on Instagram.
The much-loved Tollywood couple had posted an elaborate message on the photo and video-sharing app, announcing their split and sharing that their decade-long friendship will still remain a special part of their lives.
However, netizens were quick to troll them. While Chay was trolled by a few people, it was Samantha who was on the receiving end of most of the trolling and memes online. People began questioning her ‘motives’ and ‘character’ — but why target only Samantha? Wasn’t the split a decision the former couple took unanimously?
On early Friday morning, Samantha took to Instagram to share a quote that she probably connects with the most right now.
It reads: “If matters are constantly morally questionable when done by women, but not even morally questioned when done by men – then we, as a society, fundamentally have no morals. —Farida D.” She added, “Good morning,” to her post.
Ever since her split from Chaitanya, Samantha has been putting up thoughtful messages and quotes on her Instagram Stories.
