Karimnagar: TRS candidate Gellu Srinivas Yadav promised to develop Huzurabad as a model constituency by getting Rs 100 crore special funds sanctioned from the State government if he was elected in the by-polls. Srinivas Yadav campaigned at Gunded and Kothapalli villages of Kamalapur mandal on Saturday. Srinivas found fault with former Minister and BJP leader Eatala Rajender for neglecting Huzurabad constituency.

Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao sanctioned 4,000 double bedroom houses to each Minister. While the house-warming ceremonies of the houses were held in other areas, not a single house was completed in Huzurabad. Rajender, who constructed a palatial house for himself in Hyderabad, had neglected the construction of houses intended for the poor, he alleged and assured to construct 5,000 houses in the segment.

“The BJP leader had reportedly occupied SC and BCs lands. If he had not made any mistake, he would have faced the cases in the court. Instead of doing so, he resigned to the post of the Cabinet Minister and Assembly Legislature to hide his mistakes. What was the need to join in the BJP by betraying TRS party which gave political life to him? Though about 30 lakh jobs were vacant in various departments across the country, the Union government led by the BJP failed to recruit a single job during the last seven years” he alleged.

However, the Telangana government has filled 1.30 lakh vacant jobs and is planning to recruit another 50,000 to 80,000 jobs soon, said the TRS candidate who appealed to the people to elect him in the by-polls.
