Woman booked for abducting four-year-old girl in Adilabad

A woman has been booked for allegedly abducting a four-year-old girl from Ruyyadi village in Adilabad district. Police have formed three teams to trace the child, analysed CCTV footage and announced a cash reward for information leading to the child's rescue.

Adilabad: A woman was booked on charges of abducting a minor girl from Ruyyadi village on Tuesday. Police said Naitham Nagu Bai had kidnapped a four-year-old girl. Police formed three teams to launch a search operation. They began searching the area near the bus stand and other parts of the town with the help of CCTV footage. Nagu was seen handing the child over to some unidentified persons at the bus stand on Monday. She reportedly took the girl to Adilabad town without informing her parents.
