Woman, daughter found dead in Mancherial

According to Mancherial Inspector ML Muttilingaiah, the deceased were identified as Pudari Vijayalaxmi (47), a widow and Raveena (23).

Mancherial: A woman and her daughter were found dead under suspicious circumstances at Brindavan Colony in Mancherial on Thursday night. According to Mancherial Inspector ML Muttilingaiah, the deceased were identified as Pudari Vijayalaxmi (47), a widow and Raveena (23).

Ravina was married to Arun Kumar, a native of Bodhan in Nizamabad district. They were reportedly strangulated to death. It is suspected that Arun killed his wife and mother-in-law. He was in the town to appear before a court on Thursday. He was booked for alleged domestic violence, harassment and for defaming the character of Vijayalaxmi and Raveena over social media platforms in the past. A case was registered against Arun Kumar under Section 302 (Murder) of the Indian Penal Code. Five teams were formed to nab Arun.
