Venkatesh helped his wife and children board the Janmabhoomi Express with his wife and children at Lingampalli railway station on Sunday.

According to the Secunderabad Government Railway Police (GRP), they were supposed to board coach D-8 and mistakenly boarded coach D-3. When the train reached Charlapalli railway station, other passengers came and said that those seats belonged.

Before she could even board the train, the train moved. While trying to quickly board the train, she fell between the train and the platform,” said a GRP official.

Swetha, who was seriously injured in the accident, died on the spot.

The GRP staff shifted the body to the Gandhi Hospital for autopsy. Case is under investigation.
