Hyderabad: A woman was run over by a water tanker at Narayanguda on Saturday morning.
According to the police, the woman identified as Nida Rahman, a resident of Kanchanbagh in old city was going on a scooter when a water tanker hit her vehicle at King Kothi road. When she fell down, it ran over her. Death was instant for the victim.
On a complaint, the police booked a case and shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital mortuary for postmortem examination. A case is registered by the police and the driver taken into custody. The water tanker was also seized.
