Hyderabad: Unidentified persons cheated a woman to the tune of over Rs 1 lakh, in the guise of providing a job at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.

The 30-year-old woman, who is a graduate as part of her job trials had posted her curriculum vitae on a job portal. Following this, she received a call from an unidentified person who claimed to be an executive from a job consultancy.

Police said the fraudster informed her that her profile was selected for a position in the administrative wing at the RGIA. He requested money for processing fee and other expenditure.

The victim then transferred money into his bank account in three installments. She realised it was a fraud, since the fraudster had switched off his mobile phone after receiving the money.
