Kumram Bheem Asifabad: A 35-year-old woman was electrocuted as she came in contact with a live wire while she was cutting grass for cattle at Dahegaon mandal on Wednesday.
Dahegaon Sub-Inspector Raghupathi said that the deceased was Thummide Kalavathi, a resident of Dahegaon mandal headquarters.
Kalavathi was electrocuted when she was cutting grass in another farmer’s field with a sickle that came in contact with a live wire connected to an electric motor. A farmer noticed the body and alerted her family members. Based on a complaint lodged by Narayana, a case was registered. Investigations were taken up. The woman is survived by her husband, a son and a daughter.
