Woman electrocuted while filling water in air cooler in Nirmal
A 50-year-old woman died of electrocution while filling water in an air cooler in Nirmal district. Her father was injured while trying to rescue her. The incident was reportedly caused by faulty wiring, police said
Nirmal: An elderly woman was electrocuted while filling water in an iron air cooler, while her father sustained injuries while trying to rescue her at Patha Maddipadaga village in Kaddampeddur mandal on Thursday.
Police said that Karam Susheela (50) died on the spot when she came into contact with the cooler, through which electricity was passing due to faulty wiring. Her father Abraham received serious injuries when he attempted to save her life. He was immediately shifted to a hospital in Khanapur. His condition is said to be stable.
