Hyderabad: Customs officials at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad on Friday seized gold worth Rs 25.4 lakh from a woman passenger who arrived here on a Sharjah-Hyderabad flight.
According to Customs officials, following specific inputs, the passenger was caught smuggling about 548.3 grams of gold paste, concealed in her inner garments. Further investigations are underway, they said.
