Woman killed as college bus runs over two-wheeler in Kukatpally
A 50-year-old woman, Lakshmi of Moosapet, was killed instantly when an MLRIT college bus ran over her two-wheeler near Kukatpally Police Station on Wednesday morning.
Hyderabad: A 50-year-old woman was killed in a tragic road accident after a private college bus allegedly hit the two-wheeler she was riding at Kukatpally on Wednesday morning.
The victim was identified as Lakshmi, a resident of Moosapet, who worked at a hotel in Ameenpur.
According to information available, she was on her way to work when the accident occurred in front of the Kukatpally Police Station. An MLRIT (MLR Institute of Technology) college bus reportedly rammed into her motorcycle, causing her to fall onto the road. The bus then ran over her, killing her on the spot.
On receiving information, the Kukatpally Police rushed to the spot, shifted the body for the autopsy, and registered a case. They are yet to ascertain the exact cause of the accident.
