Woman killed, son critically injured in Dundigal drunk driving crash
A 49-year-old woman was killed and her son injured after a drunk driver in a speeding Bolero rammed their motorcycle in Dundigal. Police have registered a case and are searching for the absconding driver.

Hyderabad: A 49-year-old woman was killed and her son suffered serious injuries after a speeding Mahindra Bolero vehicle, allegedly driven by a drunk driver, rammed into their motorcycle in the suburbs of Dundigal late on Monday.
The victim was identified as Uday Latha Reddy (49), who died on the spot. Her son, Vedanth Reddy (22), suffered grievous injuries and was shifted to a nearby private hospital for treatment. His condition is said to be stable.
According to police, the Bolero driver was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and was driving at high speed when the accident occurred. The Dundigal Police registered a case and are investigating. Efforts are on to nab the absconding driver.
