Sangareddy: An alleged extramarital affair led to the murder of yet another man in Sangareddy district. In a shocking incident, the woman, who killed her husband with the support of her lover in Gangapur village, registered a complaint at Narayankhed police station hours after the murder.

However, during the investigations, police found that the woman, Kalpana, who was in a relationship with Ghaini Pandari alias Chintu, killed her husband, Muthyam Reddy, on May 16. Later, Kalpana and Chintu buried him in an agricultural field at Yelgoi village in Manoor mandal.

Kalpana had later registered a missing persons complaint at the police station on May 17. Kalpana and Muthyam Reddy, who were married in 2012, had two daughters, both aged below 10 years. While Kalpana worked as a nurse in a private hospital in Narayankhed, Muthyam Reddy used to work as a borewell mechanic in the village.

Chintu, who was working as an outsourcing mechanic in TGRTC, befriended Kalpana. Muthyam Reddy reportedly warned Kalpana over her relationship. Since he had been getting in the way of their relationship, Kalpana and Chintu decided to eliminate him. The police were on the job to exhume the body from burial now. Further details are awaited.
