Hyderabad: Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) Managing Director VC Sajjanar addressed a grievance of a woman passenger by giving instructions to drivers to henceforth stop buses at petrol bunks at night times for about 10 minutes for the convenience of women.

He responded to a tweet sent by a user on a micro-blogging site on Tuesday.

“Already given instructions in this regard,” Sajjanar wrote in reply.

In the meantime, TSRTC is taking every step to ensure strict adherence to Covid-19 precautions. With the Covid cases rising daily, the corporation has imposed a Rs 50 fine for all the travelers who are found at the bus station without a mask.

TSRTC is operating a total of 4,318 buses between Hyderabad and various destinations in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and other neighbouring States, during the Sankranti season.
