Woman, two children found hanging in Vikarabad village

A woman and her two children were found hanging in their house in Vikarabad district, Telangana, on Saturday evening. Police suspect the mother killed her children before taking her own life.

Hyderabad: A woman and her two children were found hanging in their house in Maqtavenkatapur village of Chowdapur mandal of Vikarabad district on Saturday evening.

According to reports, the woman Navaneetha alias Sunitha, (27), her husband, Jambula Mallesh, (32) and their two children, Vignesh ( 7) and Madhupriya (5) were staying in the house.

The villagers told the police that the family had reportedly been facing financial issues and had frequent domestic disputes.

The police suspect that the woman killed her two children by hanging and then ended her life when her husband was away.

On receiving information, police rushed to the spot, shifted the bodies for post-mortem examination, and launched an investigation.
