Woman vendor cheated with fake Rs 200 notes in Dubbak market, police launches probe
A woman vegetable vendor in Dubbak, Siddipet, was cheated with four fake ₹200 notes by unidentified miscreants at the market. The counterfeit notes were detected by a shop owner. Police have launched an investigation and are scanning CCTV footage.

Siddipet: Unidentified miscreants cheated a woman vegetable vendor at Dubbak market on Saturday by giving her four fake currency notes of Rs.200 denomination.
The incident came to light later in the night when the woman tried to use the notes at a wholesale shop in the town. The shop owner, on noticing that three of the four notes carried the same serial number, suspected them to be counterfeit and alerted her.
Acting on his advice, she lodged a complaint with Dubbak police, who have launched an investigation. Police are scanning CCTV footage to identify the culprits. The probe is on.
