Woman’s body found floating in Hyderabad’s Jawaharnagar lake
On receiving information, the Jawaharnagar police reached the spot and retrieved the body from the lake with the help of swimmers
Hyderabad: The body of an unidentified woman was found floating in a lake at Dammaiguda in Jawaharnagar on Friday. Police are investigating if she died by suicide or accidentally drowned. According to the police, locals noticed the body on Friday morning and alerted the village head and police.
On receiving information, the Jawaharnagar police reached the spot and retrieved the body from the lake with the help of swimmers. A case was registered and officials said efforts are on to identify the woman. Recent missing cases registered in local police stations are being verified.
The body was shifted to the Gandhi Hospital morgue for autopsy and preservation.
