Women caught begging with infants in Hyderabad
Following information, the Rachakonda She Team from Malkajgiri, along with the Operation Muskan Team and Child Welfare Department officials, reached the spot and rescued the children
Hyderabad: As part of Operation Muskan- VII, two women were caught begging on the streets with two infants at Nacharam on Wednesday evening. Following information, the Rachakonda She Team from Malkajgiri, along with the Operation Muskan Team and Child Welfare Department officials, reached the spot and rescued the children. The women were counseled and they, along with the infants, were handed over to Swadhar Greh, a shelter home in Nacharam for safe custody.
As part of Operation Muskan, missing children are being traced, and those forced into child labour, bonded labour, begging or are trafficked are rescued and handed over to their parents, family or to rescue homes.
