Women outperform men in TG PGECET 2026 results

Women outperformed men in TG PGECET 2026, recording a 94.31 per cent qualification rate compared to 91.02 per cent among men. The results were announced by TGCHE and JNTU-H officials, with branch-wise toppers identified across multiple engineering disciplines

Hyderabad: Women outshone men in the Telangana Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TG PGECET) 2026 results declared here on Friday.

A total of 13,468 women recorded a qualifying percentage of 94.31, while 91.02 per cent of the 10,169 men who appeared for the examination were declared qualified. The results, declared by TGCHE Chairman Prof V Balakista Reddy, JNTU-Hyderabad Vice Chancellor Prof T Kishen Kumar Reddy and TG PGECET 2026 Convener Dr K Venkateswara Rao, were hosted on the website https://pgecet.tgche.ac.in/.


Toppers in the respective branches were Mohammed Saad Ali (Architecture and Planning), Marreddy Chaitanya Greeshma (Aerospace Engineering), Nalla Abhinand (Biomedical Engineering), Vinjravath Anusha (Biotechnology), Anumatla Manoj (Civil Engineering), Malka Rohith (Chemical Engineering), Abrar Ahmed (CSE), Tettu Kandala Manisha Sarayu (ECE), Gajjelli Rekha (Electrical Engineering), and Mekala Jaipal Yadav (Instrumentation Engineering).

Rakesh Kumar Pasupuleti (Environmental Management), Rayabarapu Sagarika (Food Technology), Vemula Abhishek (Geo Engineering and Geo Informatics), Balla Sandeep (Mechanical Engineering), Mohammed Imran Nazeer (Mining Engineering), Kunapuli Venkata Guru Prasad (Metallurgical Engineering), Kotturi Ramya Sri (Nano-Technology), Nyalam Mythri (Pharmacy) and Torram Ramya (Textile Technology) also emerged as branch-wise toppers.

The TG PGECET 2026 is conducted for admissions to ME/MTech, MArch, MPharm and graduate-level Pharm.D (PB) programmes offered by universities and affiliated colleges in the State.
