Hyderabad: The Chatrinaka police detained 11 youngsters, who were allegedly moving around aimlessly without any valid reason near schools and colleges, and counselled them on Friday.
To keep a check on women harassment, the Chatrinaka police have increased visible policing near schools where girls study and colleges where women study. Chatrinaka Inspector Syed Abdul Khader Jilani said following complaints about a few youngsters hanging around educational institutions where girls and women study, patrolling was increased.
“These youngsters were taken to the police station and counselled to change their behaviour. We will continue regular patrolling at these hot spots every day in view of women’s safety,” the inspector said.
